Architecture shoot preview assignment
Surroundings:
This build falls into the surroundings category because it stands out from the rest of the buildings around it.
Angles and Shapes:
This building is very interesting because it is in a weird shape, it is different than other buildings. I think it falls into the category of angles and shapes because of its triangular shape and angles.
Patterns:
The repeated pattern of lines on this building show the exterior space of the building so it falls into the description of patterns.
Light:
The lighting of this picture shows it as a dramatic mood for the building because of the mysterious light it gives off on a dark day.
Details:
This is an up close photo of the details of a building to show the little details that make this building special or beautiful.

AT&T hands
I would be very amazed by this commercial because it is very creative and looks very real but i don't think it would make me want to buy an atnt cell phone because I'm buying the phone not the hands and it would depend on how well the phone works.

Read the 2 page article about magazine cover design. The second page is much more important than the first page. On your blog tell me 5 things you should be thinking about when you design your magazine cover.
-No matter what you put on the cover, keep the six functions of covers in mind.
-Worst of all, it is virtual. It is just an illusory likeness of the physical paper product that your potential buyer will ultimately be holding. If you are producing magazines on paper, think and remain conscious of “paperness” all the time.
-Never trim a printout, mount it beautifully, and display it with its alternates on the finely polished surface of the conference-room table.
-Invest in a full-color, life-size photomural of a newsstand and have it permanently installed.
-If the cover pops out from its background, don’t weaken it by fussing with it.

After looking at these, find what you think are the best 2 or 3 tips and copy and paste them into a new post on your blog:
1.Think about your motivation and emotions: Blankly staring at the camera rarely gets good results. Be silly, don’t be afraid to over-act. The worst that can happen is that you fill up your memory card with useless photos; but you might also find yourself with a proper gold-nugget of a self portrait.
2. Focussing is easier if you use a smaller aperture; My favourite lens at the moment is the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4, (hence the abundance of photos taken with it on Flickr, I suppose) but I’d probably not use it wide-open when taking self portraits; It’s tricky enough to get the focus right when you’re behind the camera – when you’re on the wrong side of the lens, having a slightly deeper DOF is a lot easier!
3. The settings in which you make pictures of people are important because they add to the viewer's understanding of your subject. The room in which a person lives or works, their house, the city street they walk, the place in which they seek relaxation—whatever it is, the setting provides information about people and tells us something about their lives. Seek balance between subject and environment. Include enough of the setting to aid your image, but not so much that the subject is lost in it.
Environmental portrait:
I chose this picture because i love the way the grass and flowers look around the guy laying on the floor, also how the trees in the background take the setting.
I like this picture because it shows two young kids just having fun with cameras and everything looks very simple around them.
Photography self portrait:
I like the way this girls eyes look and the way the picture looks at the bottom of it. i also like the way her hair covers one of her eyes makes it more mysterious.
This picture is very creative i like how theres a girl thats dancing i think and it reflects in the eye.
Casual portrait:
Its a very cute picture i think its because of how they look so happy and the scene is very beautiful.
